Franklin High School
Ski & Board Club
Dear Parents and Students:
Ski season is rapidly approaching, and it’s time to get ready for our six Tuesday night trips to Wachusett. For those of you who have skied with us in the past, welcome back! For the newcomers, welcome aboard. Our program will operate on six Tuesday nights starting January 2th 2018. Transportation is provided by motor coaches, which leave the high school between 2:30-2:45pm and return between 9:00 pm. Students may either bring dinner or buy meals at the ski area cafeteria. Ms. Everleigh and Mr. Picillo are the advisors this year and you may contact them at (508) 613-1400 or via email at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
Please be aware that this is a school-sanctioned event. All school rules apply. Parents and students should familiarize themselves with the student handbook and the Skier Responsibility Code printed on the Wachusett brochure. Students who break these rules will be subjected to the school’s disciplinary codes and may be expelled from the program. No refund will be given. Both students and chaperones are in the program to have a good time. Disrespect towards chaperones, the staff at Wachusett, or the bus drivers will not be tolerated. Participants are expected to be cooperative and abide by the rules of the school and the ski area.
In addition, we have a new sign up procedure which is linked to this form and also found on the FHS website under student clubs.
Last but not least, this club does NOT count for physical education hours so we will NOT sign off on any paperwork saying this meets the physical education requirements.
We are looking forward to a great Ski & Board Club season with all of you this year!
Ms. Julie Everleigh and Mr. Dustin Picillo
