Franklin High School is participating in an international community project called Empty Bowls, which works towards combating hunger and poverty in our local communities. The first part of this project is to make ceramic bowls with FHS students and faculty then district K-12 art teachers and their students. The Franklin community will also have a chance to participate through an open studio program held at FHS.
Then, the Empty Bowls Club and The Franklin Food Pantry will co-host a community meal of soup and bread in the FHS cafeteria on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 6pm-8pm. All funds raised at the event will be donated directly to The Franklin Food Pantry.
